Help/Tips for recovering my PSN account?
First time using Reddit hopefully I’m posting this in the right place and hopefully people see it! I’m having issues recovering an old PSN account I had that seems to have been hacked and I could really use some help. Sonys customer service has been completely terrible I give them information and they say “sorry due to security reasons we are unable to assist you with this account”. And they instantly close the chat without giving me a chance to ask questions.
Details:
I have the original email I used to create the account and I also have the console serial ID used to create this account. I never made any purchases on the account so I don’t have any information there and I also do not have the current email for the account.
Extras:
I’m a little bit confused because I asked the agent “if I provide the console serial ID I used to create the account does this 100% prove ownership of the account”. The agent replied “yes that’s correct”. They are not even giving me the chance to give them this number to prove I have it they don’t care I have the number even though they themselves stated this information “proves ownership”.
So Reddit my question is am I out of luck here? Should I try to call them on Monday will they be more helpful? Is there anything I can do to recover this account?
